When you need it
Diaper disposal bags are useful from the first outings, when you need to change a diaper and there is no bin in sight. They remain handy until diapers end, roughly 3 years, and later for potty accidents and messy clothes.
What to look for
Look for bags that tie shut easily and contain smells, ideally with a dispenser that clips to your bag or stroller. Thicker material resists tears. Some are scented, so choose unscented if you prefer. Keep plastic bags out of children's reach.
